"The Martial Arts Tournament Concludes! And Then…!!" (武道大会終了!そして…!!, Budō Taikai Shūryō! Soshite…!!; FUNimation "The Fallen") is the one hundred first episode of the Dragon Ball anime.

Summary

Everyone looks up and finds Gokū miles above the surface. Tenshinhan jumps up and tells Gokū that he never meant to hit him with the Kikōhō. He just wanted to knock him out of bounds, and since there's no stage to land on and since Tenshinhan can fly, Gokū seems to have no chance. With a Kamehameha, Gokū blasts himself into Tenshinhan. As they rapidly approach the surface, Gokū is hit by a car, causing him to touch the ground slightly before Tenshinhan. The announcer declares Tenshinhan the winner, and the entire crowd rushes over to the landing site. Later, Tenshinhan offers Gokū half of his prize money, but Gokū declines the offer. Tenshinhan apologizes to Yamcha for breaking his leg, then takes everyone out to dinner. Right before they eat, Gokū realizes he left the Nyoibō and the four-star ball at the arena, so Kuririn leaves to get them for him. While they're eating, Gokū has a bad feeling something bad has happened. He suddenly runs back to the arena and finds Kuririn dead.
