An angry and frustrated Gomā wishes he had asked for the Evil Third Eye if he knew this event would happen instead, he demands Neba to perform the summoning ritual again but the Nameccian replies saying that he cannot perform it twice in a row, Gomā notices the now turned baby Dende and decides to take him as hostage before they leave the Castle of God.
The Dragon Team at Capsule Corporation suffer the effect of Gomā's recent wish, causing shock and confusion among them. Nahare suggest Son Gokū to go at the Castle of God as he felt an unpleasant presence there, as Gokū flies he starts having balancing issues and drops to the ground, Shin says that Kibito could take him and Gokū to the castle instead and before going Piccolo tags along with them. After arriving they are greet by Popo who informs them that Dende was kidnapped by pointy-eared people from the Demon Realm, one of which being named Degesu who Shin acknowledges as his little brother. After catching up with what happened, Gokū says to go after them and rescue Dende but Shin informs him that there's no way to teleport to the Demon Realm. Shin asks Kibito to retrieved his ship from the Kaiōshin Realm to which he does, Shin does a short examination and discovers that the machine doesn't work anymore. Gokū suggest bringing Bulma to fix it but as flies he once again has trouble keeping balance and stumbles to ground and almost falls off the castle. Kibito later brings Bulma and Vegeta to the castle, Bulma takes a look at the ship and she believes it will take her 10 days to fix it.
Two days passed, Gokū is training to get used to his new size while the others wait for Bulma to finish repairing the ship, he decides to pay a visit to Karin and ask him if he can borrow the Nyoibō, when arriving at Karin Tower he's informed that the pole was given Kame-Sennin a while ago, and so Gokū goes to Kame House, where he eventually found the pole has been used as a clothing line. He returns to the Castle in time for feast, Gokū asks Piccolo if he remembers anything about the Demon Realm but he does not due being born after the Nameccians had left realm due to liking being rule over.
In the middle of their feast they noticed a ship suddenly approaching and landing in the castle. From it a pale blue skin Majin drops and introduces himself as Glorio, he asks Gokū to come with him to the Demon Realm and defeat Gomā, wanting to save Dende Gokū accepts his request but Shin asks how does Glorio know about Gokū. Glorio explains that the King of the Third Demon Realm has been watching Gokū and friends battle with Majin Boo through a magic monitor and that he was given this request in secret, Shin then says he will also go to the Demon Realm with Glorio and Gokū, to the which the Majin accepts. Before departing, Bulma asks Glorio if she can take a look at his Ship to which he allows her to do, behind them Shin advices Gokū to not let his guard down to Glorio due to finding suspicious how he knew they were turned into children. After Bulma finishes examining the ship she believes she can now finish her task much sooner, Vegeta wants to go with them but Glorio says that his plane can only carry three people, Shin tells Vegeta that he can come soon after Bulma finishes repairing the other ship, and so Glorio, Shin and Gokū depart to the Demon Realm.
