"Panzy" (パンジ, Panji) is the fifth episode of the Dragon Ball Daima anime.
Summary[]
Panzy wonders why Son Gokū was so strong despite being a kid, and he replies saying it's due to training. Panzy notices Gokū's round-ears and asks what demon race he is from, Gokū says he's a Saiyan, and from what Demon Realm he's from, Gokū doesn't know what to answer but Glorio answers for him saying he's from the Second Demon Realm.
As the gang leaves, Panzy asks where they are going and Gokū accidently reveals they were heading to Kadan Castle. Panzy follows them and says that she will go to the castle with them, Glorio rejects her request but she follows them anyway. During their travel Gokū starts to feel hungry and Panzy offers to the Saiyan some rice balls. On their way to the castle Panzy, Gokū and Nahare introduce themselves about their qualities.
When reaching a crossroad Glorio takes the left road but Panzy suggest taking the right road instead, and because Shin and Gokū follow her lead Glorio follows them too. On their way to the castle the gang discuss about the Gendarmerie extortion of the population, and come across various landmarks.
Up from a hill in the distance the gang can see the King's castle, Gokū comments that the castle doesn't look impressive, Panzy finds that rude and response that for the Third Demon Realm it is an impressive castle. Shin wonders what the king is like and Glorio compares him to an uncivilized mafia boss.
Back at the Demon King castle in First Demon Realm, a demon caretaker reads a book half-heartedly to the baby Dende. Gomā walks in the room and demands them to read it again but with more emotion, he says that Dende must have good care as he's an important Nameccian that will create new Dragon Balls for them. The caretaker returns to read the book and ramp ups their performance.
Gokū and the others walk to the castle and at the gate they're stopped by the guards, who have seemly forgotten that Glorio came the day before, Glorio tells that he needs to speak with King Kadan. The guards asks about the brats that are with him, at which point Panzy shows herself. It's revealed that she's the princess and the guards welcome her. Panzy says this attitude is what makes people think they're like the mafia. The group enters the castle, Shin says that she could have told them about herself sooner and Gokū thinks Panzy doesn't look like a princess at all. The gang gets a little tour in the castle and watch various demons performing different tasks on their way to throne room; Panzy knocks the door tells the guard inform her father of their return.
The Demon King Kadan walks in to greet his guests, sits on the throne, and demands: wasn’t this guy supposed to bring someone who was powerful enough to defeat Majin Boo?! Glorio responds this are them but the King only sees some brats. Kaiōshin he's not as powerful as Gokū but he's accompanying him. Panzy walks forward and tells her father about how Gokū rescued her and beat the Gendarmerie, the king thanks them for that. Panzy inquiries about her father request but he reveals that it was Glorio who told him that he could fetch someone that could defeat Gomā, Kaiōshin side-eyes glorio.
Panzy finally pieces things together and understands why Gokū's ears were round but she still cannot understand how someone from the outside world could fly and be so strong; Gokū reiterates it's because he trains. Shin adresses the king and asks if he wants to defeat Gomā, Kadan reaffirms it and states that Gomā is a villain and that once defeat he will become the Great Demon King a bring peace to the realm. The king says that if they succeed Gokū can marry Panzy, which the she angrily apposes but Gokū tells them that he's already married and has kid, which shocks both the King and princess.
Kaiōshin explains to them that they were turned kids by Gomā and that they have to rescue Dende or gather the Demon Realm's Dragon Balls in order to return to normal. This gets a reaction from them, since they would have to fight the Tamagami and because no one has managed to gather them before. Gokū says that it should be an easy task, getting another reaction from the King.
Glorio asks if they could borrow another plane since their previous one was stolen, Kadan accepts his request but before that he wants Gokū to give a demonstration of his power, which the Saiyan complies with. On the training ground various warriors are gathered to face Gokū, with the King promising a rise to one who manage to beat him, the warrior screen in excitment and Gokū jumps into the arena. Everyone start attacking Gokū with their weapons but the Saiyan dodges all the attacks while dispatching everyone of them with a single strike. They change strategy and try grabbing Gokū by the arms to holding him in place, the manage to grab him but inmediately Gokū transforms into Super Saiyan for a brief instance to blow his captors away, the King and Panzy look in awe. A demon tries slicing him with their sword Gokū quickly moves away with a flick of his finger send the demon flying and come into collision with other demons, the last demon standing surrenders. The King and Panzy is disbelief once again.
Keeping with his word, Kadan gives the gang a new plane with new pin code and bunch of supplies for their travel. Before leaving, Kaiōshin informs to Kadan that their friends will be arriving to help but they don't have a pin number and asks he could do something about it, the King says there's not a lot he can do. After having some thoughts he asks a nearby servant called Hibis to go to the outside world a fetch their guests' friends. Kaiōshin tells Hibis that their friends are on planet Earth of the 7th Universe, Gokū adds they're on a castle that floats in the sky, Hibis takes out a radar from their pockets and confirms their location and says that they will need a mid-size plane to carry four people but currently only have small-size ones. The King summons some soldiers and asks them to steal one mid-size plane from the Nemophy Gang.
Panzy walks in a cargo full of load of her own, and intending to travel with the gang. The worried Kadan warns her that she would only get the gang way, Panzy response saying she wants to see Gomā go down and that she can repair the plane if something breaks up, Gokū asks Glorio if he can repair machines but says it's not his forte. Gokū says that Panzy can come with them.
Before taking off Kaiōshin takes Gokū aside and tells him that Glorio is definitely hiding something from them; Kadan didn't know they've been turned into kids, and Glorio specifically said he had been requested by the King but from the sounds of things earlier it was Glorio who first approached the King, Gokū wonders if that really matters, and the group takes off.
Glorio says that it should take them four days, with some breaks, to this realm Dragon Ball. Gokū has a hard time think about sitting that long, and Panzy explains that the Third Demon Realm is the biggest one of all. Suddenly the plane's engine starts popping off, and it seems they're carrying to much load. Glorio says to hold on tight as the plane descends and crashes to the ground.
