"Hurry, Gokū!! The Great Escape from Hell" (急げ悟空!!地獄からの脱出大作戦, Isoge Gokū!! Jigoku kara no Dasshutsu Dai-Sakusen; FUNimation "Piccolo's Best Bet") is the forty-fifth episode of the Dragon Ball GT anime.
Summary[]
Piccolo's plan is to replicate the method that the two Android 17's used to escape from hell. He telepathically communicates his plan with Dende. They try to send an energy blast to each other at the same time. After several tries, they finally hit at the exact same moment, and another black hole opens up. Piccolo, unfortunately, cannot follow Gokū back to Earth, as he must remain perfectly still for the portal to remain open, but assures Gokū that it will be all right; he is willing to spend eternity in hell to help his old friend. Accepting, Gokū returns to Earth, while Piccolo decides to get in some "target practice" with some of the old villains. Meanwhile, Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten, and MajOob are losing badly to Super Android 17. The android turns on Dr. Gero, because Dr. Myū programmed the android to only take commands from him. With Gero out of the picture, he tells 17 to finish them all off. Just as he's about to blast Vegeta, Gokū arrives and pushes him out of the way, and turns his attention to Super 17.
