"Come Forth, Shenron! The Saiyans Finally Arrive on Earth" (いでよ神龍!サイヤ人ついに地球到着, Ide yo Shenron! Saiya-jin Tsui ni Chikyū Tōchaku; FUNimation "Shenron Appears! The Saiyans Arrive Sooner than Expected!") is the eighth episode of the Dragon Ball Kai anime.

Summary

The Kaiō of the North has also taught Gokū the Genki Dama technique, and tests Gokū's ability to create a Genki Dama with a large brick as a target; Gokū destroys it with no problems. However, the Kaiō of the North warns Gokū of the potential danger of creating a Genki Dama on Earth. So Gokū decides to only use it as a last resort. With his training complete, Gokū is ready to be resurrected. Only then is it revealed that the Saiyans will be arriving sooner than the expected; additionally, the Kaiō of the North had forgotten to allow sufficient time for Gokū to travel back along Serpent Road to reach Earth before the Saiyans arrive there. Gokū sends an urgent telepathic message to Kame-Sennin via the Kaiō of the North's telepathy, insisting that the Dragon Balls be used to resurrect him with all possible haste. On Earth, Kame-Sennin, Bulma, and Oolong summon Shenron and fulfill Gokū's wish. Gokū then begins the long journey back along Serpent Road; fortunately, with all of his training, increased strength and speed, and new techniques, the return journey will be far quicker than the original. The next day, the Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa land on Earth to begin their search for the Dragon Balls.
