The Death Ball is a Ki Manipulation Technique, and one of Freeza's strongest signature techniques.
Usage[]
Perhaps one of Freeza's strongest techniques, the tyrant generates a sphere of ch'i above his fingertip. Within this small sphere contains enough power to entirely destroy a planet, as Freeza intended to use the sphere to erase Namek and everyone on it. He can also generate this sphere between both hands, and it produces the same planet destroying effect. However, when Freeza holds back on power and only destroys the core, it sets off a chain reaction that results in the eventual destruction of the planet instead.

Main article: OVA4 Chilled displayed this same technique, charging the Death Ball through both hands in attempt to destroy the Super Saiyan Bardock and planet Plant, Bardock, however, deflected the attack with his own.

- While this technique was not named in the anime or the manga, it was named in Dragon Ball Z: Martial Arts Legend 2.
