Dragon Ball Online (ドラゴンボールオンライン, Doragon Bōru Onrain; Korean: 드래곤볼 온라인) is a MMORGP game developed simultaneously in Japan and South Korea by NTL. It was released outside Japan, in South Korean, Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively on February 4, 2010;June 15, 2011 and September 8, 2011. Dragon Ball series creator, Akira Toriyama, has a great involvement over the project, both contributing to and supervising the story and art design, including character and location arrangements.
However, due to lack of content development, the game servers was completely shut down various time in 2013.[1] On May 21, 2014 a new project was running, later given an official name titled Dragon Ball XenoVerse on July 10, 2014, which borrowed some elements from Dragon Ball Online.[2]
