The Dragon Fist is a Ki Manipulation Technique invented and used by Son Gokū.

Usage

The Dragon Fist is one of Son Gokū's strongest techniques, as well as one of his few original techniques. He first showcased the technique against the demonic beast Hildegarn. Gokū releases an immense ki, which emerges from his fist as a giant, golden dragon, resembling the Earth's Shenron. The dragon then pierces the body of the target, before coiling around them and annihilating them entirely.[1][2]

In the anime-only series Dragon Ball GT Gokū is able to perfect the use of this technique by adding a Super Kamehameha at the end of it's sequence.

Trivia

  • In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, this technique stems from Gokū attempting to use the Genki Dama in a Super Saiyan 3 (i.e. a "non-pure") state or higher. The technique will begin to fade, causing Gokū to absorb the energy from the Genki Dama, and attack the target with the Dragon Fist.
  • This technique is similar to the technique he used to kill Piccolo Daimaō.
