The Gamma Burst Flash is a Ki Manipulation Technique utilized by Vegeta.
Usage[]
While utilizing this technique, Vegeta holds both hands to either side of his body, charging an immense amount of godly ki. He recites the name of the technique, and thrust both palms forward, facing opposite directions. When combined with Super Saiyan Blue, the technique was capable of releasing a powerful blast of ki, brilliant enough to be seen from space, and strong enough to decimate Zamasu's replication technique.[1]
A far weaker variation can be used in base state; Vegeta combined it with Gokū's Super Kamehameha against Jiren.[2]
In Other Media[]
The Gamma Burst Flash would later debut in Super Dragon Ball Heroes, despite not appearing in the anime. Vegeta utilized the technique with his Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, introducing the technique in Universe Mission 1.
Trivia[]
- Its name is a reference to a Gamma-ray burst, an extremely energetic event that occurs in distant galaxies which represent the brightest and most powerful class of explosion in the universe.
- The Gamma Burst Flash is the first truly "new" (as opposed to a powered up version of an existing one) Ki Manipulation Technique Vegeta has used in the manga since the Final Impact, twenty-three years earlier.
