God Bind is a Ki Manipulation Technique used by Son Gokū as a Super Saiyan God.
Usage[]
It utilises unique hand movements, projecting his godly ki outwards and encasing Broly within the extension of his aura. This technique seems to embody the fighting style of the Super Saiyan God — utilizing the godly ki for techniques of an equally godly class.[2] The technique proved capable of restraining Broly in his Wrath state, while Gokū tried to reason with him, restricting his movements almost completely. Broly, however, eventually overpowered the technique, reversing the effect onto Gokū.[3]
Trivia[]
- While the technique was not named in the film, it was named in Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle
- Gokū's usage of this technique resembles Hit's Time-Shift from the manga, as he uses a similar hand motion and stance when binding Broly. Whether or not the techniques are the same remains to be seen.
