The Gokū's Childhood Days Saga (悟空少年時代編)[1] is the first part of the Dragon Ball series where it chronicles the entire adventures of Son Gokū's childhood. The first part compiles 16 volumes of the manga that spans from Gokū's fateful encounter with Bulma that began their adventures to find the Dragon Balls as well as the entirety of the Dragon Ball anime series. It is followed by the second portion Gokū's Younger Days Saga.
