The Eternal Energy Reactor is a device created by the Doctor Gero. It is a reactor implanted into Nos. 16, 17, and 18, and, as the name would imply, generates eternal energy.

Overview[]

The Eternal Energy Reactor is a device Gero implanted into three of his Android models — Nos. 16, 17, and 18. The device is used for the Eternal Model Type (永久式タイプ, Eikyū Shiki Taipu) Androids, and sets them a cut above Gero's earlier models. The generator enables them to produce an infinite supply of energy, keeping them powered and moving without the need to absorb energy, and without the ability to actually deplete. However, due to how Gero designed the Eternal Energy Reactor, it made Nos. 17 and 18 too hard to control, something he attributed to their reactors, rather than their nature as former humans.
