The Kaiōshin Realm (かいおうしんかい, Kaiōshin Kai) is a dimension in which the gods of the other gods reside, to observe both the Living World and the Afterworld.

The Kaiōshin Realm exists around the circumference of the entirety of the universe, on a fixed cycle, akin to a satellite. The realm is said to inaccessible to all life forms outside of the gods of the universe. In normal situations the inhabitants are not allowed to interfere with the operations of the both realms, but under critical cirumstances where the fate of the universe is compromised they are obligated to interfere with both the operation of the Living World and the Afterworld. Beings from the Afterworld or the Living World are normally prohibited from entering here. However there has been made special exceptions for Son Gohan.

It is said to be impossible to enter here without the highest level of teleportation abilities such as Kai Kai. If one does not have the ability to teleport it is impossible to travel from and to. The is the dimension that contains the planet Kaishin and is inhabited by a sub-sect of the Shinling species: the Kaiōshin. It exists outside the main sphere of the universe.[1][2] It is considered to be such a sacred realm that not even the Kaiō are allowed to enter; Gohan was the first human to ever step foot into the Kaiōshin Realm.[3]
