Karin (カリン; FUNimation "Korin") is a talking cat, over 800 years old, that lives atop Karin Tower, located in the Sacred Land of Karin. He serves with the current God of Earth, and is a martial arts master who has trained both Muten Rōshi and Son Gokū on separate occasions.

Due to the vast power differences between the characters as the series went on, Karin eventually simply became the supplier of Senzu to the Dragon Team.
