The Kikōha from the Fingertips is a variation of the Kikōha technique that collects ki in the fingertips and fires it into a beam.
Usage[]
The Ch'ikōha from the Fingertips is a variation of the Kikōha technique. To utilize this variation of the Kikōha, the user collects ki at the tips of their fingers, and then releases the collected energy in the form of a beam. This technique has been used as a staple by many fighters, such as Piccolo and Freeza, who would go on to form their own variations of the technique that were vastly stronger.
Freeza's variation was used to provide a quick and efficient kill, either exploding, creating instant death[5] or pierces the target, delivering a more drawn out demise.[6] Despite its nature as an almost assuredly lethal attack, the Kikōha from the Fingertips can be deflected by those of an equal or higher power level. Gokū has demonstrated on occasion the ability to deflect the beams with only his palms,[7] and as a Super Saiyan, the technique, even when colliding with his face, left little more than a bruise.
Trivia[]
- Despite the Daizenshū claiming the Kikōha from the Fingertips debuted in the final chapter of the series, it was first used by Piccolo Daimaō in Chapter 158.
- This technique, similarly to the Kikōha from the Mouth is traditionally associated with villainous characters, and the heroic character who use it being far and few between.
