The Makankōsappō (Beast) is a Ki Manipulation Technique, and an enhanced Makankōsappō utilized by Son Gohan in Beast mode.

Usage[]

Augmented by his Beast state, Gohan prepares a powerful Makankōsappō Unlike other iterations, which are variations of orange and yellow, Gohna's enhanced Makankōsappō is a brilliant, vivid white with blue hues. This Makankōsappō is fast, and powerful enough to pierce the hide of Cell Max's head with ease.[2]

In Other Media[]

This move appears in multiple video games. It first appeared in Dragon Ball Heroes. When it debuted in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2, it was named Makankōsappō (Beast). In Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, it is simply named Makankōsappō. In-game dialogue between Piccolo (Super Hero) and Son Gohan (Kid) imply Gohan has been working on this technique since around the time of the Saiyan arc.

Trivia[]

  • While this technique was not named in the movie or manga, it did receive a name in Dragon Ball: XenoVerse 2. In the manga and movie, it is simply called the Makankōsappō.
