Trivia

  • According to the movie’s character designer, Minoru Maeda he conceptualized each character from their leader Garlic Junior. To give them variety in their appearance he gave Nikki hair.[2]
  • Nikki’s name comes from the Chinese-derived Japanese word for Cinnamon, “nikki”.
  • Due to misinformation it is common for the fandom to assume that he and along with his comrades are from the the people of Makyo. It has never been fully disclosed on whether he is, or is not a member of this racial group. But in fact they're all noted as being Demons in the original japanese script.[1]
