The Nyoibō is a mystical staff once owned by Son Gokū.
The origin of the staff is not a weapon, but an item for going to Castle of God, located in the air above Karin Tower, borrowed from Karin long ago by Kame Sennin. Son Gokū inherited from his adopted grandfather, Son Gohan, which he always carried it on his back when going outside.
Beside usage for attacking opponents, the staff freely expands and contracts when ordered, allows one to attack distant things without moving. The staff's longest recorded length is 238,900 miles — as seen when Son Gokū used it to take Toninjinka to the Moon.
- It's named after Sun Wukong's cudgel, Ruyi Bang (如意棒, Chinese: "Rúyì Bàng"; Literally meaning "Compliant Rod"), in Journey to the West.
