The Nyoibō is a mystical staff once owned by Son Gokū.
History
The origin of the staff is not a weapon, but an item for going to Castle of God, located in the air above Karin Tower, borrowed from Karin long ago by Kame Sennin. Son Gokū inherited from his adopted grandfather, Son Gohan, which he always carried it on his back when going outside.
Abilities
Beside usage for attacking opponents, the staff freely expands and contracts when ordered, allows one to attack distant things without moving.[1][2]
Trivia
- It's named after Sun Wukong's cudgel, Ruyi Bang (如意棒, Chinese: "Rúyì Bàng"; Literally meaning "Compliant Rod"), in Journey to the West.
