- Pirotsuki's name is a pun on pirozhki, a type of fried or baked bun originating from Eastern Europe.
- Pirotsuki's appearance and gimmick seem to be based on the American professional wrestler Big Van Vader. This is further supported with the mask he wears being near identical to the one worn by Van Vader.
