Synopsis[]
The story begins when a then monkey-tailed boy named Son Gokū meets a girl named Bulma. Where years after crash-landing onto the planet Earth is offered the chance to join Bulma in her journey to find all 7 magical Dragon Balls. Bulma wishes to find the magical balls in order to wish for a boyfriend. The legend has it that once an individual collects the seven magical Dragon Balls they summon a giant dragon named Shenron who grants them a wish of their choice.

Gokū's Childhood Days Saga (悟空少年時代編, Gokū Shōnen Jidai Hen)[1] is the first portion of the Dragon Ball series that spans during the first 194 chapters of the manga and all 148 episodes of the entire Dragon Ball anime, before transitioning into the second anime, Dragon Ball Z.

It spans from the second half of volume 5 to volume 7,[4] more specifically this spanned from chapters 56 to 97 of the manga[4] and episodes 29 to 68 of the anime.[5] It is preceded by the 21st Tenka-Ichi Budōkai Arc and followed by the Uranai Baba Arc.

Gokū's Youthful Days Saga (悟空青年時代編, Gokū Seinen Jidai Hen)[2] is the second part of the manga and anime of the Dragon Ball series, titled Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Kai in the anime, while remaining the second part of the Dragon Ball in the manga. The second part spans from chapters 195-420. In the anime it was the first 199 episodes of the Dragon Ball Z series and the first part of the Dragon Ball Kai series.
