Mr. Popo (ミスター・ポポ, Misutā Popo) is an inhabitant from the Afterworld selected to guide the God of the Earth, he is also a martial arts master who served successive generations of Gods of Earth. He is also the creator of the model for Earth's Shenron.[1]

Mr. Popo is a being of inderterminate power, being able to easily take on Son Gokū with ease after the latter had soundly defeated Piccolo Daimaō, placing the man firmly above the former Demon King in power. In the anime, he's been shown to be able to fend off Goten and Trunks, both of whom were stated to be stronger than Freeza (prior to his training).
Among his more esoteric abilities is the ability to intercept telepathy, as Mr. Popo claimed to have heard North Kaiō speak to the Dragon Team about Namekku, despite not being anywhere near them.[2]
