The Present (現在, Genzai) is the "main timeline" (本線, honsen) in which most of central plot of the series takes place within. It is referred to as the Past (過ぎ, Sugi) by both the future Trunks and Cell as it occurs 17 years before the future that Trunks lives in.

- On May 7, the 28th Tenka-Ichi Budōkai is held. Mr. Satan wins and Mr. Boo is the runner-up.

Age 784
- On May 7, the 28th Tenka-Ichi Budōkai is held. Gokū leave with Oob.^[1]
