The Smasher Lariat is a technique that encompasses two groups of the basic-type of Physical Martial Arts Techniques.
Usage[]
The user charges the body resting on the full strength of the bicep in order to immobilize and strike a target in the lower portion of the neck with a lariat. The user grips onto the target's neck, and tosses them afterwards for further damage, sometimes tossing them or continuously charges into the target until colliding with physical matter. Broli can also use this on two targets.
The strength of the technique is based on which one of user's forms. When using it as his Type-C, Broli is able to immobilize his targets with enough force to defeat them. Under the usage of Broli's Type-B, it was capable of leaving a tremendous crater in a towering rock formation.[2]
Trivia[]
- While this technique wasn't named in the movie, it was named in Dragon Ball Z: Super Butōden 2.
- In real life, the lariat is a common move in pro-wrestling. In Puroresu (プロフェッショナル・レスリング, Purofesshonaru resuringu), Japanese pro-wrestling, the lariat is an especially feared move. It is among one of several real-life techniques used in the Dragon Ball series.
