The Super Giant Body Technique is a technique utilized by Piccolo, but is an ability available to Nameccians in general due to their racial traits.

Usage[]

To utilize this technique, Piccolo takes advantage of his own racial capabilities, he concentrates the nerves throughout his entire body, and invigorates his cells. This initiates the process that begins to increase the size of his body; while transforming, Piccolo lets out a scream of pain, due to the excessive additions caused by the transformation. An advantage to this technique is that, despite increasing in size, his speed doesn't decrease at all — a trait shared with the Great Monkeyfication used by the Saiyans. The increase in size is followed fittingly by an increase in strength; however, despite this immense increase, he has difficulty hitting a small target that can manuever around him, best seen when fighting Son Gokū.[2]

Trivia[]

  • Despite not wearing unique clothing like the Fighting Jacket, utilizing the Super Giant Body Technique doesn't damage Piccolo's clothing in any way.
  • Despite this, it is known Piccolo can create clothes from Materialization Sorcery, and thus the unique durability likely extends from here.
  • While in the series, this transformation does not hamper Piccolo's speed in the slightest, in video games such as Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2, it does make the Nameccian who uses it considerably slower.
