Hybrid Name

In Daizenshū 4, the Saiyan-Human hybrid is referred exactly as Saiyan-half (サイヤじんハーフ, Saiya-jin hāfu) and Saiyan-quarter (サイヤじんクォーター, Saiya-jin kuōtā) (the current kanji used is incorrect), though "ハーフ" and "クォーター" in Japanese is commonly used before noun, not after, makes me confused.
Also, the pure-blooded Saiyan (the term is currently what way we'd referred them) is translated as "pure Saiyan" (じゅんすいサイヤじん, Junsui Saiya-jin) (kanji "純粋", "じゅんすい" is exactly the same of which in the pure Majin Bū's name). --— The Tragedy of L Three Star 04:38, November 30, 2015 (UTC)

Hmmm....if those are the terms being used, then those would be the terms we should switch to. Terminology works that way here; the official terms used in the Daizenshū are what we use. But are you absolutely sure it's "Saiyan-half" and "Saiyan-quarter" and not the other way around? Since they sound so odd.—Mina Țepeș Two Star 20:17, November 30, 2015 (UTC)
They're my literal translation from the kanji. I don't know whether or not they're in English 'cause the term "Saiyan-half" can't be found on any sites. First try? --— The Tragedy of L Three Star 03:26, December 1, 2015 (UTC)
No, as it appears, the translations are correct. Which means these are the terms we're gonna have to use, Saiyan-half, Saiyan-quarter, and pure Saiyan.—Mina Țepeș Two Star 10:19, December 2, 2015 (UTC)
So, I think that's a support. --— The Tragedy of L Three Star 01:22, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
Any thoughts?--— The Tragedy of L Three Star 01:22, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
I don't think it's a matter of support so much as, if the terms are accurate translations then it's what we have to use, that's the simplicity of it, no? Even if it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.—Mina Țepeș Two Star 02:28, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
Aha, you said these are odd, and so did I.
...though "ハーフ" and "クォーター" in Japanese is commonly used before noun, not after
Not sure what they are in English, I can't make change unless we're all in agreement @_@ --— The Tragedy of L Three Star 03:09, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
Which would then make our current translations accurate. I should ask Ten, since he's the best at Japanese.—Mina Țepeș Two Star 03:12, December 3, 2015 (UTC)
So, what did he say about them?--— The Tragedy of L Three Star 02:23, December 14, 2015 (UTC)
