Trivia

• Despite of being released between chapters 396 and 397, the chapter acts as the prelude to Androids and Cell Arc. It's set in Trunks' futuristic world, explains the origins of Trunks in the alternate timeline and the events leading up to Trunks traveling back to the past.
  • The chapter was later collected into volume 33 of the tankōbon release. However, in the kanzenban release, it was included at the end of the final volume.
• Unlike most chapters, it was adapted into the hour-long anime special called Defiance in the Face of Despair!! The Remaining Super Warriors – Gohan and Trunks.
